Overview
HPC series shunt capacitor device (Local compensation) is an reactive power compensation equipment which connects HV asynchronous motor in parallel directly and switch capacitor with motor synchronously or delayedly. It is be used in the large power high-voltage motor of the metallurgy, mine, petrification, building material, irrigation and machine industry, meanwhile it can improve the power factor of the load, decrease line loss, save the energy, stabilize the voltage and better the electric fence quality.

Main characteristics
1 The device has no redundant operation parts. Compact structure, rational distribution, well
dynamic and thermal stability, no maintenance running.
2 It adopts prime integral-film dielectric power capacitors of Cooper USA which has up-to-date design concept—extended foil, no welding connection, laser incising and special patent technology. While it has characteristics of high field strength, small bit, little cubage, high reliability, long life, little loss, low running temperature, etc.
3 Adopts HV expulsion fuse as short circuit protection to assure safe operation.
4 To limit operation and system over voltage caused by switch capacitor, the device has special MOA for capacitor.
5 In accordance to system condition, can configure different reactive reactance reactor which can limit the closing instant inrush current below 20 times to restrain harmonics and inrush current.
6 In accordance to system condition, can configure vaccum contactor to switch capacitor bank.
7 There are ampere meter, voltage meter HV live display on device. Electromagnetic lock and door switch has the forced locking function that can ensure the security of maintenance staff.
8 Conenction with motor in parallel, convenient operation, compact structure, rational distribution, well dynamic and thermal stability, no maintenance running.
